Positivity in Moving Forward

Let’s face it y’all, life is far from perfect. We go through so much in our lives. Sometimes life hits you very unexpectedly with some major life changes. I think how we embrace those changes is what makes us who we are. It makes us really figure out how to be strong and move forward with life.

I think that the biggest thing that you can do, is try to find the good in those moments when you feel like the world around you is just crumbling down. Try to find that positivity, that silver lining. I know that sometimes that can be the most difficult part.

Whether it is a break-up, something you have failed at, everything going on in the world right now, or just something that disappointed you, make sure that you do not let it take over your life. I know that it is easy to fall into those ruts, but I beg of you to try to find some piece of positivity and run with it.

I told y’all I’d be open with you from the beginning when I started this blog. I’ve been through the wringer in the past few weeks, which is why I have been a little MIA lately. I was finding my positivity again. Learning how to move forward again after what happened. It is okay to take the time to feel and have the emotions.

I know for me, I’ve been relying on my friends, family, and really getting myself back into working out and running again. I knew it was time to take some time for me, and that is just what I did and what I am continuing to do.

Life can throw you many curves and unexpected changes, just remember to find the positivity and move forward.

Last Minute Holiday Shopping!

Hey y’all!

So I am not sure about all of you, but this holiday season seems to be moving WAY too fast. I barely have any of my shopping done. I am normally so on the ball with my presents, but this year has been a hectic one, and I am SO behind on that list.

Does anyone else feel like the older that we get, the faster time goes? I used to think that I had so much time to get things done and in place, but honestly I cannot keep up with how fast time and life seems to be going!

Needless to say I am still only halfway done my Christmas shopping with only eight days left to get it done! If anyone has any suggestions on different gifts, let me know!

Send up some prayers that I get it done in the next few days!

Happy Holidays y’all!

Friendsmas!

Hey y’all!

So this past Saturday was so much fun for me!

I got the chance to go to a Friendsmas with a really cool group of people. Going in I only knew about five people, but coming out I made a few more! They were the most welcoming, fun people that I had been around in a bit!

I am not sure about all of you, but going into a room full of people that I do not know can be a bit overwhelming for me! Thankfully they were seriously the nicest group of people!

Even though the turkey got messed up to begin with, it turned out so well and gave us more time to talk and get to know each other! & of course have some holiday CHEER!

The afternoon/night was filled with food, wine, and good fun! The best part is we only took one group picture that turned out perfect….I know guys, when does that EVER happen?! It was a Friendsmas MIRACLE!

Some pictures below show the fun times!

I hope you all have great friends like these and get to spend some quality time with them this holiday season!

Happy holidays!

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Hey friends!

So, I’m not sure about all of you, but I always love a good decorating day!

It was such a gloomy, rainy, snowy Sunday this past weekend that I spent the day redecorating my bedroom for Christmas. Most people I know end up putting their decorations in the same exact spot year in and year out. Personally, I love to switch it up! Heck…sometimes I even switch it up again before Christmas!

Last year, I got on a kick of Christmas gnomes…now, typically I do not like those garden gnomes (and my brother HATES them) lol. But for some reason, I think these Christmas/Santa gnomes are the absolute CUTEST!

I always think that a good strand of string lights helps to “cozy” up a place. This year I put them around my window and my floor length mirror. It’s also good movie lighting for those snowy winter days! I know I like my Hallmark Christmas movies and a good cup of tea in bed. So…the cozier, the better.

This weekend I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a few things to make a centerpiece for the kitchen table…needless to say it ended up in my room. It was a super easy piece to make and cost me less than $30!

I hope you guys get some joy out of the pictures or maybe even a few ideas to take along with you for your Christmas decorating!

Enjoy!

HelloFresh!

Hey y’all!

I hope you all had a very happy thanksgiving!

As promised, here is the blog on HelloFresh.

I honestly have only cooked up one of the three meals that I had ordered so far. It was one of the best meals I have cooked in a long time. I ordered the blackened tilapia tacos. I made them with one of the best friends for girls night that we do once a week. We are both avid taco lovers, so this was probably the best one to try out with each other.

The entire process was super easy. HelloFresh gives you EVERYTHING that you need to make a great meal. Instructions, ingredients, the only things that I needed to provide were the olive oil and my oven! The instructions are super easy to follow, and there are even some pictures provided (which always help me lol).

Let me just tell you how I have never used the broil option on my oven, I added a little too much olive oil to the tilapia….needless to say, I set off the smoke detector…don’t worry though y’all, no fires were started and I will NOT be making that mistake again haha!

Other than that minor mishap…the tacos actually turned out amazing. I have to say that they were the best fish tacos I had had in a long time. They were garnished with a fresh pineapple salsa that was to die for!

All in all, it was a fun experience and the food was so good. Check out the pictures to see all the yumminess! And…check out HelloFresh, I give it an A+ JOB!

Pie & Wine Pairing in Phoenixville <3

Hey guys!

I am so excited to share with y’all my recent fun!

Yesterday my mom and I went down to Vintner’s Table in Phoenixville, PA. They had their annual pie and wine pairing! Vintner’s Table is actually a branch of Folino Estate Winery.

I have always been a big fan of their wines and I would highly recommend stopping in if y’all are ever in the area! The atmosphere is so welcoming and there is honestly a wine for everyone and every taste bud.

My mom and I had such a good time there. The pairings were perfect… full of flavor and spice… and everything nice (haha). There were three pie and wine pairings. The wines were amazing as always, and they truly complimented the three mini pie bites perfectly. There was a pecan pie that was paired with their Chambourcin wine, they both had a subtle sweetness to them that paired well and truly went down smooth. I actually think that the Chambourcin may be my new favorite from there.

There was also a pumpkin pie paired with their Luca Forte wine. The tartness of the wine brought out the warm pumpkin flavor of the pie. Lastly there was an apple pie paired with the Frizzante Moscato. When you typically think of a moscato, you think very sweet…not this one, this has a subtle sweetness and is sparkling, so a little fizzy which brought out the cinnamon spices and the sweetness of the apples.

We loved the pies so much that we are going to try to make our own mini pecan pies for Thanksgiving.

All in all, I absolutely enjoyed the pie and wine pairing and will definitely be going again next year.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed the wine!

Here we go!

Hey ya’ll, welcome!

So, I figured for my first post I would let you get to know a little bit about me! I am truly just a simple girl with a big open heart!

I work as a certified nurse’s aide right now and love being able to help people who cannot fully help themselves! It is the least that I can do for the amazing life I have been granted, I am very passionate about helping others. My plan is to become a nurse practitioner in pediatric oncology. I also have a little side hustle (because who doesn’t these days) … I fell in love with Arbonne products, so I figure why not share it with as many people as I can! I’ll have a blog post about my Arbonne love soon!

I have two cute little miniature schnauzers, they’re my babies and I do not know how I became so blessed to have them in my life. Don’t you worry…there will be plenty of pictures of them soon to come!

I am very into health and fitness. You can typically catch me in workout gear, so thankfully it is what I get to wear for work right now! BIG plus, haha.

Peaches are my favorite fruit … hence my name 🙂

I am big on family! They have always been my number one supporters in everything that I do. They give me the love and confidence that I have needed throughout the years, so I have no idea where I would be without them! I am so very THANKFUL for them, each and every day.

Some of the things I love include hiking, fashion, traveling, fitness…and my new found love of photography!

Although this post has been very serious … I am a huge goofball!

I can’t wait to share more with ya’ll!
